REGISTRATION
The 20th International Convention of the East Asian Economic Association will be held on 8-9 November 2025 hosted by Ateneo de Manila University and the Philippines Economic Society, in Manila, the Philippines.

Note: "Developing Asia" includes Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, East Timor, India, Indonesia, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam.
Receipts or invoices will be released during registration on the first day of the convention.
Participants who cancel their registration on or before October 15 are eligible for a 75% refund. Those who cancel between October 16 and October 31 receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after October 31, as this accounts for administrative costs and partial commitments already incurred by the organizers.
In lieu of cancellation, registrants who are unable to attend may transfer their registration to a colleague at any time, offering flexibility particularly for international participants who may encounter visa or travel-related issues.
Refunds may also be considered for extraordinary circumstances, such as visa denial, travel restrictions, or serious medical emergencies, provided that supporting documentation is submitted for review.
Please note that bank processing fees associated with the refund will be deducted from the total refund amount.
All refund requests must be emailed to the 20th EAEA Secretariat (eaea20@ateneo.edu), including the participant’s full name and reason for cancellation.
Once the request is acknowledged, the 20th EAEA Secretariat will issue an Authorization for Direct Credit (ADC) Form to the requesting party. The form must be completed and submitted directly to the Central Accounting Office, as specified in the form. Additional instructions are also provided within the ADC Form.
